Africa Indoors is owned and managed by husband and wife team Dennis and Ruth Hughes. We have a background in Accountancy and Management and took over Africa Indoors in a moment of pre-meditated mid-life madness.

Africa Indoors had been established for some years when its founding owners (white farmers who had fled Zimbabwe) decided to place the business on the market.

Taking no more than a few minutes, wandering around a dusty warehouse in the middle of nowhere on an October afternoon in 2006, we decided we were the people to take the business into the next stage of its evolution. With no stocktaking, no solicitors and no pack drill, five days later the keys and the business was ours. Apparently it’s the African way…
